Donald Trump Ranks Himself as “The Greatest” U.S. President in Truth Social Post

WASHINGTON — U.S. President Donald Trump has sparked widespread commentary and online debate after sharing a personalized presidential ranking graphic on his Truth Social platform, placing himself in a unique top tier above historic leaders such as George Washington and Abraham Lincoln.

The graphic categorizes 34 former and current American chief executives into six distinct tiers: “The Greatest,” “Great,” “Near Great,” “Average,” “Below Average,” and “Failures”.

Trump positioned himself as the sole occupant of “The Greatest” tier. Founding Father George Washington, Civil War President Abraham Lincoln, Thomas Jefferson, and Franklin D. Roosevelt were relegated to the “Great” tier below him. Meanwhile, political rivals including former Presidents Barack Obama and Joe Biden—alongside Jimmy Carter—were placed at the very bottom in the “Failures” category.

Researchers and media commentators noted that the graphic shared by Trump was modified from a historic presidential survey original published by LIFE magazine in 1948. To create the custom graphic, Trump’s version added “The Greatest” category at the top and inserted recent political figures into the chart, which also explained the absence of several mid-to-late 20th-century commanders-in-chief like John F. Kennedy, Ronald Reagan, and both Bush presidents.

The post drew instant attention across political circles, with supporters praising the move as a signature display of confidence, while critics and political opponents dismissed the self-assigned ranking as an exercise in vanity.
